Health & Safety
It is Provac Cleaning Services policy not only to comply with Health & Safety measures required by law but to act positively to ensure that all premises are safe and healthy places in which to work, and that due regard is paid to the protection of the working environment. All employees, sub-contractors and Contracts Managers on site, are required to abide by the company Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Our Health & Safety Policy is reviewed annually to ensure we keep up to date with current legislation.
Provac have also been awarded Safe Contractor Accreditation.
Safe Contractor Accreditation is recognised by clients and other SSIP schemes (Safety Schemes in Procurement), therefore removing the need for contractors to complete multiple prequalification assessments, saving our clients time and money.
Safe Contractor review the working methods of the company in line with their Health & Safety policy, and assess the safe methods of work. All of our safety capability is accessible to potential customers on the Safe Contractor website.
The award of the Safe Contractor Certificate indicates that Provac are committed to the safe methods of working under the Health & Safety at work Act 1974.
We are aware of the responsibilities for the protection of the environment in which we live and conduct our business.
It is an ongoing commitment of Provac that it will manage and conduct its business activities in such a manner, that the local and global environment will not be unduly affected.
- Encourage re-cycling and the use of re-cycled materials
- Minimise waste
- Urge suppliers to provide environmentally friendly products
- Provide Coshh information and assessments on all products
- Ensure all employees are aware of how to operate a minimal impact on the surrounding environment
- Monitor our activities and review regularly
